We must become accustomed to the sufferings which Jesus will be pleased to send us. Jesus, who cannot bear to keep you in a state of affliction at length, will come to help and comfort you, by instilling new courage in your spirit.

Conviene addomesticarsi coi patimaneti, che piacerà a Gesù mandarvi, come doveste vivere sempre insieme con essi. Così facendo, quando meno penserete di esserne liberati, Gesù che non può soffrire a lungo di tenervi in afflizione, verrà a sollecitarvi ed a confortarvi con l’infondere al vostro spirito nuovo coraggio.
