From Padre Pio writtings:
My soul is filled with impatient longing to see itself possessed once and for all by this great God … it wants to have a full and perfect view of that gifure, of whom it has already seen, as it were, an outline or a rough sketch. From Padre Pio writtings:

(Letters I, p.730/731)
From Padre Pio writtings:

( Letters I, p. 347)

In conclusion, with St. John Chrysostom, I say, let us firmly believe that our divine Redeemer is adorned with great glory, but let us continue to live for His glory imitating His example and following out His will. On the other hand, our faith will avail us nothing if our actions do not bear it our. ( Letters II, p. 238)
